Brian Grochal is the Digital Innovations Manager at UL, conceptualizing and developing new digital/ big data opportunities aimed at changing the way that companies manage product compliance and quality. Before shifting into this role, Brian served as the Global Technical Lead for Juvenile Products, working closely with UL’s global labs to ensure accuracy and consistency, and supporting clients by developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Brian’s knowledge encompasses US, Canadian, European, and Australian standards, global compliance systems, product lifecycle management, traceability systems, risk assessment, and more. He most recently served as Compliance Manager for Maclaren, with heavy involvement in product development and quality.

Prior to joining Maclaren, he led global regulatory matters for 4moms during a period of massive expansion into new product categories and new international markets. Brian is also the subcommittee chairman for the ASTM children’s chairs and stools standard, a certified CPST, and an active member of JPMA and ICPHSO., where he also serves on its Board of Directors.
